Bio
Emma Rosa, Cuban New Jersey native, is a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher in various styles ranging from heels and hip hop to contemporary and tap. Emma is currently a backup dancer for popular Reggaeton artist Guaynaa where she served as dance captain for MTV Latin America's MIAW Awards. She  has also performed live and in music video with other popular Latin artists including El Alfa, Sech, Farina, and Maldy. Emma’s live stage experience expands to performances with American music artists like Trey Songz, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Todrick Hall, and VH1 Love & Hip Hop’s Mariah Lynn as well as Tayla Parx’s international We Need To Talk tour. She has also been a movement coach to emerging music artists including Mia Gladstone, Remi Lewis, Imani Rey, and more.

Emma was also a featured tap dancer and actress in Variety Life Production’s off-Broadway show Midsummer: A Shakespeareance and the Public Hotel’s sold out Carmen: To Havana and Back. She has been a member of Maurice Chestnut’s tap company Dance Therapy, Theresa Stone’s contemporary fusion company AbstraKT BEINGS, and Shirlene Quigley’s heels crew Queendom.

As an influencer and brand ambassador, Emma was recently a dance athlete for Nike’s Own The Floor campaign, a dance model for Gap's Linen Moves Campaign, and is a consistent partner for brands including Burju Shoes and Gatakini.

Emma also shapes the next generation of young movers and thinkers as a professor at Sacred Heart University. There, she has taught tap, heels, contemporary, and hip hop for the past several years. She has also taught pop-up workshops at the esteemed Ivy League Yale University.

Emma is a well-known and highly-sought after international dance instructor. In the past three years, she has taught in 15 different countries including across the continents of North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. She just hosted two back-to-back sold out Sensual Heeling retreats in Costa Rica. Right now, Emma teaches weekly packed classes at well-known NYC studios Brickhouse and SassClass and guest teaches at Broadway Dance Center. Her main focus is to inspire movement expression for people of all levels and abilities through a focus on intuition, community-building, and unapologetic self-acceptance.
